About Remus

A question is only the beginning.

Remus is an AI research workspace for evidence-backed investigations built on public sources: people, organisations, money and influence.

It turns a question into a case you can return to, with a record of the evidence, the connections and what has changed. The conclusions remain yours.

Our purpose

Research should leave a trail.

A useful answer raises another question: what is it based on? And when a source changes, what does that mean for the work you have already done?

Remus brings the conversation, saved source material and relationship map into one case. The aim is to make an investigation easier to inspect, continue and reconsider, without losing the evidence behind it.

You should be able to follow a claim back to its source, and follow a change through to the conclusions it affects.

How a case works

From a question to a record that stays current.

Remus is designed around a continuing investigation, with evidence you can revisit at each step.

  1. Open a question as a case

Start with what you want to understand: a person, an organisation, a transaction or a wider network. Keep follow-up questions within the same investigation.

  2. Keep the source, not just the link

Save a timestamped copy of each source used in the case. A claim can lead back to the passage it rests on, alongside its origin and capture date.

  3. Map the connections

See who is connected to whom, what the relationship is and which evidence supports it. A connection is a starting point for investigation, never proof of wrongdoing.

  4. Make the kind of claim clear

Distinguish facts, allegations, inferences, interpretations and speculation. Keep conflicting sources visible, and recognise when several reports trace back to one origin.

  5. Return to what changed

The case stays open. Remus re-checks its sources and reports changes, flags the claims that need review and leaves you to decide whether your conclusions should change.

Who it is for

For people who need to show their working.

Remus is being built for journalists, researchers, due-diligence teams and curious members of the public in the UK and US.

  • JournalistsTrace statements to saved material, inspect the relationships behind a story and return when the public record changes.
  • ResearchersBuild an investigation over time, keep competing explanations in view and preserve the evidence behind each line of enquiry.
  • Due-diligence teamsExplore people, organisations and transactions through public sources, with an evidence trail for each connection.
  • Curious mindsMove beyond a quick answer to understand where a claim comes from, how it connects and what remains uncertain.

Our principles

Evidence first. Judgement stays with you.

Remus helps organise and examine evidence. It does not turn an allegation into a fact, treat association as guilt, or silently replace a conclusion you have reached.

Sources can be wrong, incomplete or contradictory. Making those limits visible is part of the work. You choose how much weight the evidence can bear.

The business behind the workspace

Independent, founder-led and self-funded.

Remus is an independent UK business, founded in 2026 and run by its founder. It is self-funded, with a focus on a research workspace people can return to and build on.

The planned options are Free at £0, and Plus at £15 or $20 a month. The aim is to give people a way to begin, with a paid option for deeper research and ongoing work.

Remus plans to run Claude through Amazon Bedrock and to use Amazon Bedrock AgentCore for web search. These are planned technology choices.
